Ebonyi University pulls out of ASUU strike
- The Ebonyi State University has pulled out of the ongoing strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU),  Vanguard reports.

The school authorities announced the resumption of academic activities following the failure of the National Executive Council of ASUU which met in Kano at the weekend to call off the strike.

The ASUU chairman of the university, Professor Ndubuisi Idenyi, however, insisted that the union will continue with the strike irrespective of the directive by the school authorities.

Ebonyi State University is the fourth school after Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA), in Ondo State, Enugu State University of Technology (ESUT), Enugu, and the Ibrahim Badamosi University, Lapai, in Niger State to reopen their schools for academic activities.
